Join us on April 29th from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM for a lively, interactive musical performance of songs and stories with Nina Ryne and Jan Grigsby! Their multicultural stories and songs are accompanied by guitar, viola, mandolin, percussion and sound effects. Children and families will be delighted by this dynamic duo, who have been providing music and storytelling performances at schools, libraries and festivals for over 20 years.
Trained in acting and singing in NYC and England, Nina has performed storytelling, puppeteering and music across the US and taught music from preschool through high school. Jan grew up playing classical music on viola and violin and shared his love of songs and instruments with his elementary students for 30 years as a public school teacher, before retiring a few years ago. They love blending their vocal harmonies and multiple instruments to create interactive, creative performances for children.
